Joy Ezechikamnayo took over the reins of affairs in Abia State for 24 hours on Monday December 11th. Joy , an SS3 student and senior prefect of Intellectual Giants Christian Academy, Umuahia emerged the state one-day governor after a rigorous essay competition organized by the state government. The 20 top performers in the essay competition were designated as follows: 1st position-Governor 2nd position - Deputy Governor 3rd position - SSG 17 others are Commissioners Today, the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu handed over power to her.
